A restaurant chain hired a researcher to determine the extent to which customer perceptions of service quality, food quality, image as well as a location variable dubbed the centre, explained customer intention to return. The location variable was a dummy variable that took the value 1 if the restaurant was located in a shopping centre and 0 if it was not.
