A Rhetorical Analysis on concussions in football

Purpose: The purpose of this assignment is to analyze the rhetorical strategies used in a text (e.g., a speech, article, photograph, campaign, etc.) and evaluate its effectiveness in persuading its target audience.

Audience:Assume the reader of your paper is unfamiliar with the text you are analyzing.

You must refer to at least two sources, one of which should be the text itself. Use direct quotes from the text to illustrate an appeal when necessary. The other source should be a credible source, and it may be used to inform the reader of the context, the rhetorician, or the audience the text targets. Remember to provide in-text citations and include any sources used in the Works Cited list. All citations should follow MLA guidelines.
