a) Run crosstabs that address each of your five hypotheses. Use the recoded independent variables as appropriate, i.e., based on the independent variables used in your hypotheses.

b) Report whether the "valid percent" results (of the crosstabulations using the recoded variables) confirm or refute your hypotheses in a concise and effective written narrative manner. For example, "The bivariate crosstabulation results refute the hypothesis that 'males are notably more likely than females to be unhappy in life.' There is, in fact, only a slight difference among males and females. Specifically, 15 percent of males versus 16.5 percent of females indicate being 'not too happy' in their lives." Your result statements should be similar three sentences each.

Again, unless you have an even more thorough way of stating such, please follow suit with this example of how professional responses are supposed to be written in the research arena. This is about thinking and writing in a logical, not abstract, manner. Nothing more, nothing less please.

c) Copy and paste your SPSS table output results after each written narrative responses. If this method does not work, you may paste the output as an image/picture or paste the narrative and outputs into a Word.doc and attach to your exam submission (i.e., Insert>Document>Upload Document).
