A sequential circuit has 3 flip-flops, A, B, C;one input x; one output y. The state diagram is shown below. Thecircuit is to be designed by treating the unused states asdon’t care conditions. The final circuit must be analyzed toensure that it is self-correcting (self-started).

(a) Use T flip-flops.
(b) Use JK flip-flops in the design.
