His recommendations were actually quite simple and things we have heard more than once in our careers and perhaps personal lives. Learn to say no and do it often. Delegate, this not only moves things off of your desk or plate, it also allows you to focus on the more important items which you should be focusing on$.$ Many times others can do many of the items that end up on our desk or personal plate so we need to identify these and move them to others $($Schwantes$,2018).$

Providing new opportunities and challenges to others helps to build them up as well. Tackling new items results in more confidence and builds self$-$esteem when we can see the results. It enhances their experience level so now they are better as well $($Dardis Communications, $2019).$
