A study was carried out to understand and analyze the investment behaviour of the employees of Public Sector Units(Psus) and government. A sample of 80 respondents was drawn from the PSU and government employees in the vicinity of Delhi. The respondents were asked to state their level of agreement or disagreement on the following parameters on a 5 point scale, where 1 = Strongly Disagree, 2 = Disagree, 3 = Neutral, 4 = Agree, 5 = Strongly Agree. The seven parameters in question were the importance given to risk awareness, returns, insurance cover, tax rebate, maturity time, credibility of the financial institution, and easy accessibility while making an investment. Interpret the results of a factor analysis done on the above case to interpret the underlying dimensions. The interpretation would involve: i) Interpret the KMO and Bartlett's outcome. [3 Marks] ii) Mention the eigenvalues of each factor and what is its significance. [2Marks] iii) Identify the parameter contributing to each factor and give each factor a suitable name. (5Marks] iv) What is the contribution of the identified factors towards the total variance?[3 marks] v) identify the surrogate variable of all extracted factors.
