A study was conducted to see if CTE occupational clusters influence student performance on standardized test scores. The study results indicated that Question 94 options: a) performance on standardized math tests showed a tendency to improve as student course work in CTE increased. b) there was no difference in performance between the students who took CTE courses and those who did not. c) engineering courses had a significant influence on student scores. d) students who took college preparatory course work in tandem with CTE courses performed much better than peers who did not
