A) There are three (3) theories of discrimination: (1) disparate treatment, (2) mixed motive, and (3) disparate impact. Discuss one of the theories and a case which used this theory as a basis for the decision.

B) Why is the distinction between an employee and an independent contractor important? What are the criteria for determining if a worker is an employee? What do the income tax regulations use as the criteria?

 

C) Research the duties of principals and agents. Also what is the liability of principals and agents to third parties when there are disclosed, partially disclosed and undisclosed principals? What constitutes the termination of the principal-agent relationship?
