If the system is to operate at 90F and 1.0atm with a removal efficiency of 99%. Assume a carbon density of 25lb/ft3 and also assume a bed depth of 1ft. Determine a) The mass of carbon needed in each bed (in lbm ) and the approximate dimensions of each carbon bed if the bed regeneration and cooling will require one hour. Check if the pressure drop and superficial bed velocity are satisfactory. If not, make the appropriate adjustments. b) Estimate the total amount of steam required per day (in pounds) to regenerate the beds of the system
