A Washington school employee made unflattering comments about her coworkers on an Internet blog. As a curriculum specialist part of her role is to observe and mentor less experienced teachers and provide honest, critical, and private feedback.  The district claims that the blog undermines her ability to create private, trusting relationships as an instructional core coach. She was transferred from a curriculum specialist position to a classroom teaching job at the same salary. The teacher claims this is a breach of contract since it does not mention the possibility of transfers and violates her right to free speech.  Is this legal?
