Aaron, owner of the first house on the far left, contracted with Pete's Painting to paint the outside of his home. Pete bid $25,000 and Aaron accepted with payment due upon completion. Aaron told Pete that he would be out of town on a business trip when Pete's painters were to begin the painting job on Monday. Before Aaron left, he told his next-door-neighbor Nancy, who lived in the second house on the far left in the photo, that painters were coming on Monday. The painters arrived early on Monday and mistakenly began painting Nancy's house instead of Aaron's. Nancy saw the painters were busy painting her house when she awoke at 10:00am. But instead of alerting the painters of their mistake, Nancy hid in the back of her house - and allowed the painters to complete the job thinking that she would get a free house painting! Once the painters completed their work, they rang the doorbell and presented an invoice. Nancy answered and refused to pay for the painting since she had no contract with Pete's Painting. Discuss whether Pete's Painting has a cause of action against anyone for the financial damages he incurred when employing a painting crew and for the cost of paint. If yes, describe what the cause of action would be, or if not, explain why.
