About designing a smart refrigerator system
Required:
Determining the task that the refrigerator is doing (reading the barcode of the products and determining the expiry date)
Write a scenario for this task (illustrating the task and its interaction with the human being, taking into account the four questions:
Q1. Will users try to achieve the outcome of clicking on this button?
Q2. Will users see this button for the action?
Q3. Once users find this button, will users recognize that clicking on it will produce the effect they want?
Q4. After the action is performed, will users understand the feedback, so they can confidently continue on to the next action?

Acme Co. is developing a new smart refrigerator and has asked you to design an app to go with it. Acme's new refrigerator will come equipped with all the latest technology. It has the ability to identify any object put inside it, including fruits and vegetables. It can also track the weights of the items and how often they have been taken out of the fridge. Acme wants you to create a design prototype of a smart fridge companion app that supports three tasks. For the purposes of this project, you can assume that these are the only three tasks a user will ever attempt to accomplish using your app. Two of the tasks have been provided by Acme, and you must identify one task yourself. Tasks Acme's marketing department has done some initial research and identified the following two scenarios as tasks they would like the app to support. They would also like for you to identify a third task that users are likely to engage in. Your app should support all three tasks. For all three tasks you need to finish/create a design fiction. That is, you need to write a short fictitious story about someone who wants to accomplish the task and how your app helped them to do so. The point of a design fiction is to help the reader understand your vision of how the app will be used under ideal circumstances. Please refer to the lecture slides for examples of what completed design fictions look like. 1. "Is there anything I need to buy more of?" Technical assumptions: The Acme refrigerator is able to list out all the current contents of the fridge as well as past contents. It can identify the EAN code of any item in the fridge (see assumptions) and the shelf that item is currently on. Design fiction: Alice is on her way home and stops at a grocery store to buy food for dinner. While there she wonders if she needs
