Abubakar purchased a Toyota Camry to run it as a taxi from Funto, a neighbour in the outskirts of Ikorodu who was employed as a civil servant but regularly sold quantities of good grade second hand goods received from his brother based in Europe. His wife purchased a used photocopying machine to earn some money from few neighbours popping into her front yard shop to do small photocopying. She also bought a large quantity of second-hand ladies clothing, shoes, and bags, for her use and for sale. They now complain that the goods are defective and wish to sue Funto. Advise both parties of rights and defences open to them.
