Project 3: Solve in Access, Project 4: Solve in Excel with VBA components Description of the case: A small restaurant "Pizza Place" has a limited menu with 6 to 8 items (entity: Menu, please put reasonable prices for the food items) and four employees (entity: Employee; put yourself to be one of them and use the cartoon character names for the other three). Customer is ordering (entity: ORDERS) a meal by choosing one or more options (entity: Order_line) from the Menu. Assume that it is a cash-and- carry type of business. Employees are earning 10% of the amount they have sold. Enter sample data for 7 consecutive days: November 1 to November 7th 2017 (for each day put between 5 and 9 orders). Project 3: By means of Entity-Relationship model explain the business and present it graphically. Using ideas from the database Premier Products create a database PizzaPlace_last where you willreplace the text last with your last name. Set up all tables (4 tables: Orders, Order_Line, Menu and Employees), choose the primary keys and establish relationships. Create Forms for data entry and queries as the basis for managerial reports: the total sales for each day and all sales occurred so far. Create two reports: a) the individual earnings for each employee (interactive by entering the Employee ID) and, b) the total amount of all pizzas sold. Create a Switchboard or a Buttons-Type menu to manage the store.
