Purpose: To apply your understanding of team design and the benefits of using teams in the workplace while gaining useful skills for creating and delivering presentations to high-level audiences.

You have been engaged with this location for one week, and you determine that an immediate change should be made to their lack of teamwork. Instead of collaborative environments, there appears to be an individualistic mentality across departments. Each of the members gets the tasks completed, but don't seem concerned with the others on the team. If someone needs help, no one pitches in to assist. If a team member has a problem, no one helps them to solve that problem. There are many inefficiencies that could be overcome through forming work teams.

Compose a multimedia presentation based on the following prompt and presentation guidelines.

• Provide rationale for suggesting the development of work teams. Explain why each of the following characteristics of team climate can impact team success: shared vision, task orientation, open communication, support for innovation, and interaction frequency. Describe any threats to collaboration.
