Accommodating is sometimes referred to as the soothing style. This conflict management style is low in terms of assertiveness but highly cooperative. In the accommodating style, one party is willing to give in to the other party's self-interests. It is the opposite of competing. This may involve yielding to the other's point of view or giving in to quickly solve the problem. This style may be appropriate when the outcome is not greatly affected by this one issue
