Another job where the pay gap is most pronounced is physicians and surgeons. It states that men are making $71,192 more than women. Men are making $243,072 a year while a woman is earning $171,880.
According to Forbes an occupation where the pay gap is equal for both men and women is the role of a teaching assistant. They will both receive $34,424 a year when working as an assistant. There are a few jobs which would pay women more than men. Women would be receiving 3% more than what men would make if they would be working as a compliance officer or a vocational nurse. Another job where women would be receiving more than men would be a wholesale and retail buyer. They would be receiving 2% more than what men are earning.
