According to CNBC most women face a continuous pay gap in every job. However, some jobs have a bigger pay gap than others. The field in which the pay gap is the highest would be the job of a financial manager. Men are making $35,338 more than what women are making. A man is earning $100,575 while a woman is making $65,237 a year. This shows how they are both working the same exact job but are both earning different amounts. Another job where the pay gap is most pronounced is physicians and surgeons. It states that men are making $71,192 more than women. Men are making $243,072 a year while a woman is earning $171,880.

According to Forbes an occupation where the pay gap is equal for both men and women is the role of a teaching assistant. They will both receive $34,424 a year when working as an assistant. There are a few jobs which would pay women more than men. Women would be receiving 3% more than what men would make if they would be working as a compliance officer or a vocational nurse. Another job where women would be receiving more than men would be a wholesale and retail buyer. They would be receiving 2% more than what men are earning.
