According to Directives 2011/83/EU and 2019/771/EU: C1 invites Bob to her home for a new kitchen furniture. After taking measurement and checking which colours, a contract of 25,000 Euro is made. Bob uses the same order forms as in his brick-and-mortar store, without any adaptations to the legal requirements of more specific marketing channels. Four weeks after delivery C1 is wondering whether there is any possibility for her to return the furniture and claim the money back. Please give legal advice to C1 considering the two scenarios that (a) the furniture was off-the- shelf furniture and (b) the furniture was made-to-measure?
