According to Jeffrey Pinto there are six criteria for a useful project selection and/or screening model; (1) Realism: An effective model must reflect organizational objectives, and must be reasonable in light of constraints on resources such as money and personnel, and take into account commercial and technical risks, (2) Capability: A model should be flexible enough to respond to changes in the conditions that projects are carried out in and be able to accommodate new criteria, (3) Flexability: which means the ability for the project to be easily modified, (4) Ease of use: which means a model should be easy enough to be used by people in all areas of the organization, (5) Cost: The cost of gathering, storing, and arranging information in the form of useful reports or proposals should be relatively low in relation to the costs associated with implementing a project, and lastly (6) Comparability: which means the model should be broad enough that it can be applied to multiple projects, and/or types of projects (Pinto, J., 2015). Based on the case a conclusion could be drawn that their screening method does not meet any of the six mentioned criteria
