According to The Innocence Project, "eyewitness misidentification is the single greatest cause of wrongful convictions nationwide," and other research has supported the fact that eyewitness identification is unreliable. In your opinion, why do the courts continue to allow eyewitness identification in court, despite the research? Please explain and justify your answer.
