According to the Ontario Human Rights Code, one of the barriers that still exists is that adequate training simply isn't available (OHRC, 2023). By this knowledge, it is understood that the funding simply hasn't been adequately allocated. These classrooms and learning environments need both the staffing, and the training to properly support the variety of needs within the room. This will benefit all of the students and staff long term. The staff will feel and be more equipped, and therefore less burnt out. This will mean that government budgets will need to be adjusted to accommodate. I would like to propose the idea of each city or region having a team of government employed individuals.
