You will be playing the role of the client, Bridget Grant. Sheis a citizen ofthe United States, and she is also a Canadian permanent resident. She would like to apply for Canadian citizenship through the naturalization process.In the last four years Bridget has been in and out of Canada on business matters. Almost half of the trips and days away have been back to the United States and the remaining time has been trips to a variety of countries, mostly Asia and Europe, on business and vacation.
Bridget spent two years in Canada on a work permit as an Intra Company Transferee before becoming a permanent resident. Since theninthe last three years she has been in Canada for a total of30months(912 days). She continues to work with the same Canadian subsidiary of Global Protection Corp. of Seattle. The Canadian subsidiaryis inCalgary, Alberta.Set out in the chart below are the details of the trips outside of Canada in the past three years. She did not leave Canada during her two-year work permit period.
