Assign/Project activities:

• Prepare an article for the Jamaica Journal using the facts published as regards the Auditor Generals audit of the National Insurance Scheme, referred below, using as much of the course material discussed in class as appropriate. This report will provide 15% of your course grade.

An Auditor General report has disclosed that the NIS is at risk of failing because of poor governance, which has contributed to the disbursement of billions in payments without checks to see if the right people were getting their pensions. Reported in the Gleaner of Tuesday, 26 January, 2021.
