How would you reply to the explanation of the concept if an ERD to the manager by first saying that this is a graphical representation. In this representation you can have people, objects, things and many more items that are then put into components. These components are divided into entities and attributes. After they are divided we set them into relationships between them. Then we give then an action in which it gives the entities shared information in the database. Finally, they get connected by lines to represent these shared entities.
