Accounting information system ( REA Module Multiplicities )

answers should be with tables and attributes down below

Case study"

On Downtown Dubai near Jumeriah Beach, in the shadow of the famous hotel Rixos the Palm, where a super star Nancy Not Agram started one of her most famous beauty salon called NNA.NNA founders, Mickey and Minnie, got the idea for their business in one of Disney TV shows where they observed that ordinary people delighted in letting a team of beauty consultants "change your look" and that changing their hair, their grooming, their cloths and cosmetics. Mickey and Minnie first targeted only women who wanted to look and feel like Nancy Not Agram for their business, but they discovered over time that there was a market for men also who wanted to be made over in the image of some of the men such as Amer Not Deab, Shab Not Khaled, or Rageb Not Alama.Based on their robust business in Jumeriah Beach, they were thinking of expanding to other locations like Downtown Sharjah.NNA employed more than 20 people and invested more than 15 million Dhs. in the business. To open Sharjah branch; the founders raised their share of investments and received a loan from ADCB bank of 5 millions Dhs.

When NNA first welcome a client, they assign a client# and keep information regarding the person's name, address, and telephone#.Clients can either pay for all work and consultations received in a particular month on the 10th of the next month or they can spread their payments over four months.Usually consultations take from one to five hours and are always finished on one day. When clients leave the shop, they are given a bill for their payments which they mail back in with their checks using one of the two options above. In fact, most of people ask for the same service over and over and therefore, repeated business is a major part of the NNA marketing plan, and many clients use NNA multiple times. Sometimes for marketing purposes, NNA makes a unique consultation to couples (like a "Rageb Not Alama" who wants to match his "Nancy NA"), but this is only done in 10-20 % of the cases, and payments are always tracked by individual consultation. Cashier handle all the cash receipts.

For Jumeriah salon, consultation is always directed by one employee who plans the makeover and performs some or all of the work. This employee "director" is assisted by 1-2 other employees in about 60% of the consultations. For costing and quality control purposes, NNA notes the directing or assisting roles and times of each person who works on a particular makeover.Consultations come in various types, ranging from the "Major NNA Makeover" to the "Ragab Not Alama Haircut and Trim."Each consultation type has a standard base fee to which is added the labor and product costs needed to make that individual consultation successful. At present, NNA offers 21 of these types.Mickey and Minnie figure out the composition of a new consultation type before they offer it.Product costs involving items such as cosmetics, clothing, jewelry, wigs, hairpieces, etc. are incurred in over 90 % of the consultations, and NNA tracks them in detailObviously, directors push as many products as they can on to each client, although some clients resist products altogether. Products are never sold without consultations.

On the other side of the story, products are purchased from various vendors around the country. Each product type is given a product# and is usually supplied by multiple people. Before any purchases take place with a vendor, that supplier is asked to provide a price quote for each item they intend to supply to NNA.Buying employees negotiate discount for all products on each purchase separately, and NNA tries to buy in large lots. Purchase payment terms depend upon the vendor and range from all payments due at the end of the next month to one-year installments. Mickey and Minnie use multiple cash accounts for their receipts and disbursements, although each transaction involves just one account.Buyers are often the same people who do the makeovers. Employees are added to the date base once they are hired. Vendors are added to the date base before they involved in any transactions. Cashier handle all the cash payments. Although Cashier is an employee, NNA keeps tracking this position separate than other employees. Beside check written to vendors, NNA writes check to pay for employees and other expenses.
