Act 44 of 1986 ("the 1986 Act") is repealed by Act 5 of 2022 ("the 2022 Act"), with effect from 15 February 2022. The 2022 Act also contains provisions that replace the repealed provisions. However, the replacing provisions will only come into operation on 15 June 2022. The legal position between 15 February and 15 June is as follows: Question 5Answer a.
