Activity 1: Policy review and development**

Identify two policies and procedures that require updating in response to any new legal requirements or change in regulations or standards. Ensure that one policy relates to the organisation's (disability sector) safety practices and the other relates to its' diversity, equity and inclusion practices.

Research the required changes to get their ideas about the amendments needed. Draft the required updates, ensuring that the wording and length or complexity of the updates are appropriate to those who will be expected to implement it.

Activity 2: Facilitate an information briefing on updated policy

Write a two- to three-minute transcript of you facilitating an information briefing to at least three co-workers on the proposed amendments to the safety policy and procedures reviewed in Activity 26. Please note if the proposed amendments relate to the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), you must demonstrate the correct use of the equipment to the group as part of the information briefing.
