After looking at all of this information, you will assume the role of a genetic counselor.

1) First, summarize the nature vs. nurture debate in the initial part of your answer.

2) Second, how would you advise a couple who has come in for genetic testing and counseling?

3) What specific questions would you ask?

4) Write out the exact script with at least six (6) questions showing what you would say and what the couple would say. Make sure you include some relation to nature vs. nurture concepts in your script as well.

5) After the script, explain why you asked the particular questions and be sure to support your answer.

Activity 2:

First, describe in detail how the "Black-White Mental Testing" it is racially biased. Please make sure you label your test before answering this question.

Second, watch the following two brief YouTube Clips on psychologist, Dr. Robert L. Williams who coined the term "Ebonics" and developed the Black Intelligence Scale of Cultural Homogeneity, and then answer the questions below:

Third, why do you think Dr. Williams coined the term ebonics?

Fourth, read the Black Intelligence Scale of Cultural Homogeneity Article. You may avoid reading the statistics in the article. I am more interested in your reading the content of the article. Why did Dr. Williams develop the scale?

Finally, can an individual's upbringing make a difference of how one performs on an IQ test? Explain your answer.
