Employees recently elected a new Health and Safety Representative (HSR) and your HR Manager has asked you to ensure that the HSR is trained and ready to undertake the responsibilities of the role. As a result, you are required to undertake a training needs analysis and to plan a training program for the new HSR. The training program must include the following sections:

Training needs, you have identified for theHealth and Safety Representative. (minimum of 5)

The method of training (must include different methods such as external training, on the job training, coaching and mentoring)

Costs of training

Number of hours of training

 

When the training will be scheduled

Once the training program is created, you are required to write an email, addressed to the General Manager, HR Manager and the Department Manager, which:

provides a summary of the training required for the HSR

explains how the training complies with the legislative requirements

sets out the total costs of the training

requests that the costs be added to the training budget for Citistores.
