Adam is a keen driver who enjoys off road driving. He wants to buy a new vehicle that can serve as a day to day vehicle as well as a weekend off road vehicle. He visits 'Desert Duellers' which specialises in hard core large capacity off road vehicles with a 'nothing like a V8 policy!' Adam tells Ethan, the salesperson, that he is looking for an off road vehicle with sufficient horsepower and torque to satisfy his dual requirements. He also wants it to be fitted with the latest in GPS technology. In addition, he wants the colour of the car to be 'Military Look matt paint' and have 19 inch wheels fitted along with the biggest, baddest bull bar available that is still legal. Ethan recommends the new model 'Conquistador,' which comes fitted with a 6 litre V8 engine that would meet all Adam's requirements. Ethan tells Adam that it has so much torque it could make climbing a mountain feel like he drove over 'credit card'.

When the vehicle is delivered to Adam he is disappointed to find it is white coloured and has only a small nudge bar. It is also fitted with a basic 4 litre V8 engine and 17 inch wheels which he finds embarrassing.
