1.euipment was purchased in January 2022 and the depreciation expense is $500 per month.
2.a review of the accounting records noted that a $4,200 disbursement to a consultant to be used for assistance with international accounts. As of December 31,2022,$3,500 of the consulting work had been rendered to Bates Company. The remaining work will be performed by the consultant during 2023. Identify the journal entry required, if any related to the proper recording of the disbursement of $4,200 for consulting services.
3.bates Company incurred monthly rent of $1,500 during the calendar year 2022. The rent is due to the property owner by the 15th of the prior month. However since the company began operation in January of 2022, a check was remitted to the landlord on January 1st in the amount of $1,500 for January 2022's rent in addition to a required security deposit of $2,000. Rent has increased to $2,000 per month for the year 2023 with January 2023 Rent paid in December of 2022. All rent checks disbursed in 2022 were charged to rent expense. Identify the journal entry required, if any related to rent expense.
4.a utility bill of $730 was received for service rendered through December 31,2022. The invoice has not been recorded in the accounting system.
