Advertising has pluses and minuses. The pluses include the fact advertising helps spread awareness of many public health concerns, helps businesses grow which can lead to more jobs and it helps keep prices competitive. On the other hand advertising often times glorifies violence, contains unrealistic portraits of men and women and clutters the mind and in many cases is totally useless.
