After a long day of work, Apple Inc. employee Gray Powell decides to enjoy a beer at a local German biergarten ("the Bar"). Gray brings a prototype of a new model of iPhone with him. Later that evening, while enjoying a bratwurst, Jessica finds the iPhone prototype on the bar stool next to her. She asks around the bar, but nobody knows who the phone belongs to. Jessica realizes that it is an unreleased model worth a lot of money. Jessica spends four hours attempting to return the prototype phone to Apple. She calls up Apple's customer service number, and is transferred to a series of different people, none of whom will claim the phone on behalf of the company. Jessica finally gives up on returning the phone, and instead, sells it to a technology blog for $5000. Jessica is later sued by Bob the Bar owner and by Apple. Bob argues that since he owns the Bar where the phone was found, he should be entitled to the $5000. Apple argues that the phone is its property and that Apple is therefore entitled to the $5000.
