After attending courses on 31 October, Ben and May went to join a Halloween party with their friends in Mong Kok. They took the mini-bus from Festival Walk intending to get off at the Kowloon Tong station to meet their friends. Ben was wearing a very long Halloween costume. When Ben got off from the mini-bus, the driver shut the door too fast and did not realize that his dress was caught by the bus door. Ben fell off the bus and broke his right arm and front teeth. May also felt dizzy when she saw Ben having a broken arm and blood in her mouth. Both Ben and May were admitted to the Queen MaryHospital, claiming that they would not able to do their mathematics examination and have to forgo their earnings from the part-time jobs in the coming months.
