After reading the LMDC and Multi-site reports, examine the issues related to inmate deaths occurring in the LMDC facilities. Then, find at least three (3) peer-reviewed articles that demonstrate effective (e.g. evidence-based) policies or programs that could help with remedying the issue(s). Briefly describe the studies and provide recommendations for one of the jurisdictions in the multi-site study. Be sure your articles include programs that have been implemented and evaluated. Articles that simply provide an explanations of the issues or offer broad, untested solutions are not acceptable.
