After reviewing The Pew Forum report and the video on church and state and as well as Durkheim's three major functions of religion in society, respond to the following:

• 1. Do you see religion fulfilling these functions today? If so, give examples of each from your own experience or observation. If not, what role or roles does religion play in society? Do you see any changes in the way we view religion or in the roles religion plays in society today?
• 2. Would you describe your organization (or past organization) as faith-frosty, faith-friendly, or faith-focused? Explain.
• 3. Which do you think is appropriate for a work environment and why?
