After Sibah Dube obtained her Diploma in catering she was extremely happy to get a job at Dubai Sea World Adventure Restaurant run by a worlds famous chef. When she returned to South Africa, she decided to start her own business catering for functions and hiring dcor, tables, chairs, crockery and cutlery. The transactions that follow relate to Sibalicious Caters for the month ended 31 March 2019. 5 A business website was set up and further advertising in the local media was undertaken for a total of R 6 800 that was paid for by cheque.

7 Purchased furniture including tables, chairs , dcor, crockery and cutlery from Osmans

15 Purchased consumables for catering and paid R 15700 by cheque

18 Dock Ltd Deposited an EFT of R 30000 into the Sibalicous bank account, for catering at a business conference. The outstanding balance of R20 000 will be paid on the 18 April 2019.09.19

25 Cashed a cheque for R 25160 to pay for the following :

• Months wages R 23000 , and
• Electricity R 2160

28 An EFT of R 54 500 was deposited into the bank account being R 34500 nfor catering services band R20000 for hiring fees.

30 Sibah withdrew consumables worth R 3000 for her own personal use.
