After the outdoor play time all the children came back indoor. One of the educators announced that, "In 5 min it's lunch time, if you are hungry, please go and wash your hands". The children who were ready to eat went to the bathroom and washed their hands, grabbed their drink bottles, and found a seat for themselves. While one educator started preparing the lunch bowls for children the other educator kept supervising the group of children who were not ready to eat yet. Three children sat on one table and one child sat on another table. The educator asks the child, "why is she sitting alone and invites her to sit with her peers on the same table". The child said, "she wanted to sit next her friend but there is no spot next to her friend." The educator then sits next to the child and says, "I understand you wanted to enjoy your meal with your friend, but you can make more than one friend and sit next to them". The child then agrees to sit on the same table as her peers. Then the educator continued to serve lunch. One of other children said, "I don't like it". The educator says, "how do you know you don't like it". Child says, "I don't like it". The educator then grabs a bowl for herself and sit next to the child and take a bite and says, "I tried it, it's yummy" "I like it", and asks another child it's yummy yeah? Another child says, "it's yummy" and then Educator says to the child, "if you don't try it how do you know you like it or not, you should try it first and if you don't like it then you can pack it away". The child then tried their lunch and liked it and finished it all.
