After watching various videos and reading some testimonials and bio gs within the Facebook branding and recruiting site, overall, I think they have done an excellent job. It has a contemporaryT approach but appealing to all different generations. Each video was showcasing employees' different talent and exp eriences which seems to link a common denominator to all potential applicants without regard of lElI race, gender, ethnicity, beliefs, etc. Another strategyT that seems to he inviting is the employee's benets and perks. Daycare on site, dental and medical care on campus, free healthyT food, barbers, shuttle to work and among others. Facehook also appears to foster individual curiosity, control, fantasy, cooperation and recognition and completions. Factors that motivate individual that are not too interested in tangible materials. I think featuring these campaigns trulyT knocks on individual's extrinsic and intrinsic motivation to work for this organization. I also think one of the highlights on site was, what was said in the employees' videos. The},T appeared to convey the same feeling with their jobs. The employees seemed to he relaxed, content and not stressed which pictures positive organizational behavior and environment. These feelings are enticing and keep the job seeker interested, of which Facebook has done a phenomenal job in portraying it. Lastly, another strategy that is captivating is the employees' testimonials and blogs. The fact that some employees' have had several successes in career opportunities in different companies or organization but claimed Facebook is the best one of them all. And the magnitude of Facehook in impacting social changes and bridging global communication gap is an impressing accomplishment itself, hence, the site capitalized on it, of which made it even more appealing to employment seekers
