1.) Throughout the documentary: The Iceman and the Psychiatrist, (Johnson, 2016). Kuklinski displays many of these diagnostic criteria. For example, he admits to repeatedly committing acts of violence and murder, which is a clear violation of others' rights. He also discusses his use of aliases and his ability to con others, demonstrating deceitfulness. In addition, Kuklinski is shown to be impulsive and prone to anger, which often leads to physical violence. He also shows a disregard for his own safety by frequently engaging in high-risk behaviors. Furthermore, Kuklinski exhibits a consistent lack of remorse or guilt for his actions. He describes his killings in a matter-of-fact manner and seems to feel no empathy or remorse for the suffering he caused to his victims or their families. Overall, based on the information presented in the documentary and the diagnostic criteria for ASPD, it is possible that Richard Kuklinski could be diagnosed with this disorder. However, it's important to note that only a qualified mental health professional can make a formal diagnosis after a thorough evaluation.

Biological Perspective:

There is evidence to suggest that Kuklinski's violent behavior may have been influenced by his biological makeup. Kuklinski was reportedly abused as a child, and there are studies that suggest a correlation between childhood abuse and an increased risk of violent behavior in adulthood. In our module three readings, ''PSYCHOLOGICAL FEATURES IN PERPETRATORS OF VIOLENT CRIME'' I was able to describe how Kuklinski also exhibited several psychological traits that may have contributed to his violent behavior. For example, he was diagnosed with antisocial personality disorder, a condition characterized by a disregard for the rights of others and a lack of empathy. He also had a history of substance abuse and anger issues, which could have contributed to his violent behavior. Additionally, some experts have suggested that Kuklinski may have been motivated by a desire for power and control over his victims.

Sociological Perspective:

In our module three readings, ''SOCIOCRIMINOLOGICAL PERSPECTIVES ON THE PERPETRATORS OF VIOLENT CRIME'' I describeKuklinski's criminal behavior can also be understood through a sociological perspective. Kuklinski grew up in a violent household and was exposed to criminal activity from a young age. This environment may have contributed to his belief that violence and crime were acceptable ways to solve problems. Additionally, Kuklinski was involved in organized crime, which could have further reinforced his criminal behavior and made it more difficult for him to leave that lifestyle.
