Alianna Tande was a famous pop star that was often targeted by the paparazzi. Wherever she went, there were always people trying to take her photograph and searching for the latest gossip about her personal life. Alianna decided to take a week off her busy work schedule to relax at her cottage in the Kawarthas. The cottage was surrounded by high trees and had a security system and a full-time security guard, giving Alianna a safe but secluded place to unwind.

Lucas was one of the staff that worked for Alianna. He picked her up from her condo in downtown Toronto and drove Alianna to her secluded cottage. Lucas also took her luggage into the cottage.
