All I want you to do is negotiate... Go out there and buy something that you usually would, but get it for a cheaper price than what they are asking! (Be safe, don't start a fight).

Call Telus or Shaw and re-negotiate what you are paying now perhaps? Better cell phone plan perhaps? (even if your plan isn't up/expiring - get something for FREE)

Then write a few paragraphs (in a Word doc or straight in the comments here):

1) What was your plan? (1 mark, opening offer, strategy, etc)

2) What happened during the negotiation that changed the original plan? (3 marks)

3) How did it go? Did you get a cheaper price? (3 marks)

4) What would you have done differently? (3 marks)
