All of the following are recommendations offered by Glasgow et. al (2003) to help close the gap between efficacy and effectiveness research and to guide evaluation and possible adoption of new programs, except: Question 2 options: Realize that public health impact involves more than just efficacy- adoption, implementation, and reach are also critical. Researchers do not need to pay attention to the characteristics of intervention users (reach) and setting (adoption) in both efficacy and effectiveness research Public health funding organizations should fund innovative investigations that: enhance reach, adoption, implementation, and maintenance; investigate long-term effects and sustainability of initially successful interventions; and encourage innovation in intervention design and standardization in reporting on process and outcome measures at both individual and organizational levels
