All Sections As nations develop. we understand that they can be very fragile if they are not taken care of. This is an example we have seen as the issues in Sri Lanka as its developed and grown. For the people of Sri Lanka, what was the breaking point? With the change in leadership, what do you think comes next? The next leader is going to inherent large amounts of debt and civil unrest and people are upset. This is a warning towards other developing nations that take out loans but DONT use them for what they are supposed to be used for. Answer the following: What policies can the new government of Sri Lanka do to help its own people? (Think about the topics we have discussed in class.
