All students will be required to produce a legal research paper related to "There Ought to Be a Law". The paper should focus on an area where a new law or regulation should be created, modified, or an existing law should be terminated as it relates to legal rights in real estate. Past papers have included, but not been limited to, Air B&B / VBRO, wind farms, solar rights, drone and airspace rights, investment disparities in minority neighborhoods, condo inspections, rental restrictions in real estate, non-US ownership restrictions on real estate, 1031 exchange law updates, limits on use of eminent domain, the list of possibilities is endless!
