Along with the classmate you are paired with, discuss/practice the following vignettes. Identify the ethical issue (Chapter 10). Explain two ways you would resolve the situation based on your understanding of ethical decisions in Human Services: 1. Your supervisor tells you that he is going to have to report your client to social services for possible child abuse. You believe that he would be breaking the confidentiality of your relationship with your client. This is related to supervision vignette and your supervisor knows best since they have more experience than you about situations such as this. It can be hard to act in a situation such as this but you are not being veracity which is being truthful and genuine within the helping relationship but sometimes you need to discuss this with your coworkers and ask them about their opinion about this situation. Also, in the client and helper's relationship they signed a consent and you explained to them up to how much your confidentiality with the client was going to be uphold and as long as they were not harming themselves or anyone else. This brings to some judgement calls and the fidelity that you must uphold for your client. You are not maintaining the clients trust and being committed to them if you do not protect them from themselves or someone else that might be in danger in this case a child
