Although play should be child-directed, the educator still plays a valuable role in facilitating quality play experiences. Choose a play activity or experience you have encountered with a child or a group of children. Explain your role in supporting the child and the activity. Include any steps you took to plan the experience as well as what you did during the play activity to model play behaviors.
