Although the documentary is focused on advertising, is there a larger issue that was not addressed? Given that capitalism is an economic foundation of our society with profit as one of its defining characteristics, can it be that advertising and consumerism are only intricate parts and bi-products of our economy? Could it be that consumerism is simply an economic characteristic/value and it should not be labeled as "good" or "bad?" What do you think
