Let's say we have group 1 and group 2. Type group 1 data and then group 2 data in the same column.

In the next column, we type their group number.

If you use 1 and 2 for group identification, this second column will display 1's and 2's.

In summary, the first column contains the data from both groups.

The second column contains group number.

3. Matched pairs t-test

We have two groups of data and they are matched in pair.

Hence, we should not rearrange the order.

Type the data from the first group in the first column.
