Aluworks is expanding to other West African countries and has planned to approach Ecobank for financial assistance. Aluworks current sales are $25m but the expansion will increase this to $40m. The company has an asset base of $22m with current liabilities of $7 million which will increase following the increase in sales. Last year Aluworks earned a net profit of 4% on its sales and paid 40% as dividend.
